Img K-star

The name on the Basketball Association of Singapore's own listings does not quite settle: Kstar IMG, sometimes run together as KstarIMG, playing under a database entry that reads Img K-star. The overlap with K.Star, the karaoke chain that sponsors the National Basketball League itself, is close enough to look like a corporate link, though the club and the league sponsor are separate outfits, and nothing on record spells out the arrangement further.

Kstar IMG plays in NBL Division 1 and also fields a side in the BAS Under-23 Men's Tournament. It has no title to its name in either competition.

Home games are at the Singapore Basketball Centre on Aljunied Avenue 1.

The club runs without a website or a social media page of its own, and no colours, badge or founding date are attached to its name in public records. Division 1 puts it in the same bracket as Xin Hua, Siglap, SG Basketball and Adroit, and it is against that group, week to week, that Kstar IMG's results are measured.
