Bis Juli 2017 trug es noch den Namen Juventus Stadium.

Eröffnet wurde die Arena im September 2011 mit einem Testspiel gegen Nottingham Forest, 1:1, den ersten Treffer der neuen Geschichte erzielte Luca Toni. Finanziert hat den Bau die Juventus größtenteils selbst – der Vermarkter Sportfive sicherte sich dafür für zwölf Jahre die Namensrechte und einen Teil der Werbeflächen.

Der Rasen wird regelmäßig erneuert, zuletzt 2021, damit die Fläche unter der Dauerbelastung durch Spiel- und Turniertermine nicht leidet.
