Über den Spieler
Lennons Ausbildung begann bei Shelbourne, ehe er im Januar 2016 in die U19 von St Patrick's Athletic wechselte. Den ersten Profivertrag unterschrieb er im Dezember 2017, im August desselben Jahres hatte er im Leinster Senior Cup bereits sein Debüt gegeben und dabei ein Tor erzielt. Am 26. Februar 2018 folgte der Einstand in der Liga, gegen Waterford.
Seither ist er St Patrick's Athletic treu geblieben und hat seinen Vertrag mehrfach verlängert, zuletzt Ende 2024 langfristig. 2018 wurde er als Young Player of the Year des Vereins ausgezeichnet. Mit dem Klub gewann er zweimal den FAI Cup, 2021 und 2023, sowie zweimal den Leinster Senior Cup, 2018/19 und 2023/24. Im FAI-Cup-Finale 2023 wurde er zum Man of the Match gewählt.
International durchlief Lennon die U21 der Republik Irland, für die er zwischen 2019 und 2020 vier Mal auflief und ein Tor erzielte. Im November 2020 wurde er in den A-Kader berufen, ein Einsatz für die Herren-Nationalmannschaft steht bislang noch aus.
