Pfadi Winterthur took three points from Basel with a score of 34:30. The match took place on September 16, 2026, at the home arena of the hosts. The result was decided not by a single burst of energy, but by the ability to maintain pressure.
Before the match, the hosts occupied third place with five points. Their guests were ninth with only two points. К слову, the hosts had played one more game than the opponents, which made the difference in the table even larger. A win was expected, but such a high number of goals is not always guaranteed.
И вот здесь the defensive lines were not the main focus. Both teams preferred to attack, which led to a high-scoring match. The hosts managed to find their rhythm faster, putting pressure on the guests from the first minutes. The guests tried to respond, but the rhythm was too fast for them to control. The attack worked smoothly, and the guests could not stop the flow.
А вот дальше the hosts broke the stagnation. They had drawn with Kaden Schaffhausen recently. The guests lost to Bern and were struggling. This difference was visible.
Наш прогноз называл победу хозяев с уверенностью в 61 процент. Матч подтвердил эту оценку.
К тому моменту the hosts extended their position in the upper half of the table. The guests remained ninth, still searching for their first win in the current phase. The match showed that the hosts are ready for a serious fight for the title. The guests need to work on their defense before the next round.
