Чемпионат мира (женщины) 2025/26

The provided facts clarify that the premise of a single annual "World Cup" for women's rugby featuring Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Samoa, and South Africa is incorrect. Instead, these teams participate in two separate competitions.

The Women's Six Nations Championship is a regional tournament established in 1996. It involves six European clubs: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. The format is a single round-robin league held in spring. There is no promotion or relegation. England holds 22 titles and the current championship.

The WXV Global Series is a worldwide competition organized by World Rugby. It replaced the earlier format starting in 2026. The top twelve teams compete in WXV1, while developing nations play in WXV2 or WXV3. The tournament takes place in autumn. France and Ireland are in WXV1. Scotland, Italy, South Africa, and Samoa are in WXV2. Performance in the Six Nations often influences tier placement.
