Über den Spieler
Kevin Joel Lomónaco kam aus der eigenen Jugend von Lanús und debütierte im Dezember 2020 in der ersten Mannschaft. Über eine Leihe zu Platense, wo er elf Einsätze bestritt und ein Tor erzielte, führte sein Weg im April 2022 zu Red Bull Bragantino nach Brasilien.
Dort geriet seine Karriere 2023 in eine schwere Krise: Er gestand, für eine gelbe Karte gegen América-MG Geld angenommen zu haben, und wurde vom STJD für 360 Tage gesperrt. Anschliessend wurde er für die Saison 2023/24 an Tigre verliehen, wo er sechs Partien bestritt.
Im Juli 2024 wechselte er auf Leihbasis mit Kaufoption zu Independiente. Im September 2026 wechselte er für 5,5 Millionen US-Dollar für 80 Prozent seiner wirtschaftlichen Rechte zu Elche CF und unterschrieb einen Vertrag über vier Jahre.
International gewann Lomónaco mit Argentiniens U17 die Südamerikameisterschaft 2019 sowie das Granatkin-Memorial und bestritt vier Partien bei der U17-Weltmeisterschaft desselben Jahres. 2024 kam er zweimal in Freundschaftsspielen für die U23 zum Einsatz. Im Mai 2025 erhielt er seine erste Berufung in die argentinische A-Nationalmannschaft für WM-Qualifikationsspiele, sein Debüt stand bis Juni 2025 noch aus.
