Kevin Joel Lomónaco

Kevin Joel Lomónaco arrived in Argentine football through Lanús, making his senior debut for the club in December 2020 before a loan spell at Platense the following year, where he scored once in 11 appearances. In April 2022 he moved to Brazil, signing permanently with Red Bull Bragantino. That switch produced a notable incident: in 2023 he admitted taking a bribe to pick up a yellow card in a match against América-MG, and the STJD suspended him for 360 days.

He returned to Argentina on loan at Tigre for the 2023–2024 season, appearing six times, before joining Independiente on loan in July 2024 with an option to buy 75% of his rights for $3 million. Independiente later exercised that option, though the move brought its own complications when Bragantino filed a FIFA claim over payment disputes.

Lomónaco's underage career had already marked him out: he won the 2019 South American U-17 Championship and the Granatkin Memorial with Argentina's youth side, and played at that year's FIFA U-17 World Cup. Two friendly appearances for the Argentina under-23 side followed in 2024, and in May 2025 he received his first call-up to the senior national team for World Cup qualifiers, though he had not made his debut by June 2025. In September 2026 he left Independiente for Elche CF in Spain, in a deal covering 80% of his economic rights.
