Über den Spieler
Als Querétaro im November 2025 seine erste offizielle Verpflichtung für die Clausura 2026 bekanntgab, war es Lucas Abascia. Der Verteidiger aus Rosario kam ablösefrei von Central Córdoba und unterschrieb einen Vertrag über zwei Jahre mit Option auf ein drittes.
Abascia begann seine Profikarriere 2016 bei Tiro Federal und wechselte im Jahr darauf zu Sportivo Las Parejas, wo er bis 2021 blieb und 2019 mit dem Klub die Copa Santa Fe gewann. Danach folgten zwei Spielzeiten bei Deportivo Morón, ehe er 2023 nach Chile zu Ñublense wechselte. Über eine Leihstation bei Quilmes gelangte er schließlich zu Central Córdoba aus Santiago del Estero, wo er in den verschiedenen Wettbewerben auf mehr als vierzig Einsätze kam.
Bei Querétaro gab Abascia Anfang 2026 sein Debüt. Bislang stehen sieben Partien zu Buche, vier in der Liga MX und drei im Leagues Cup, ohne eigenes Tor. Für die argentinische Nationalmannschaft lief er bisher nicht auf.
