Das Scotiabank Centre steht in Halifax, Nova Scotia, an der Argyle Street 1800. Eröffnet wurde die Halle am 17. Februar 1978, zunächst als Erdreich-Projekt, das im Juli 1976 begann.
Die Kapazität misst 10.595 Sitzplätze für Hockey. Bei Konzerten bis zu 13.000 — je nachdem, ob der Boden genutzt wird. Renovierungen in den Neunzigerjahren fügten 43 SkyBoxes und 11 Executive Suites hinzu. Die Oberfläche bleibt kühl, künstlich.
Hier spielen die Halifax Mooseheads aus der Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Der Memorial Cup 2000 und 2019, die IIHF-Weltmeisterschaft 2008, die Junioren-WM 2003, die Frauen-WM 2004, die Eiskunstlauf-WM 1990 sowie der Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada 2015. Auch Preseason-Spiele der National Hockey League (NHL) zogen es an, etwa 2014 zwischen den Pittsburgh Penguins und den Boston Bruins.
