Der Ort, an dem heute das TD Station steht, war vor der Zerstörung zu Beginn der 1970er-Jahre der Union Bahnhof von Saint John. Die Arena wurde 1993 eröffnet und hiess ursprünglich Harbour Station .

Die Spielstätte ist das Zuhause der Sea Dogs , die seit 2005 in der Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec antreten. Vor ihnen zogen die Flames aus der American Hockey League durch die Stadt. Ein grosses Projekt wurde vor der Saison 2005–2006 abgeschlossen, um die neuen Mieter aufzunehmen: Die Tribünen wurden erweitert und 13 Luxuskabinen hinzugefügt.

Das Turnier war hier zweimal zu Gast: 2011 und erneut 2022, als die Sea Dogs den Pokal gewannen. Für Konzerte kann der Raum noch weiter genutzt werden, wobei die Kapazität dann ansteigt.
