Über den Spieler
Als Darragh Power im Oktober 2019 im Finale der Airtricity-U19-Liga traf, war das mehr als nur ein Jugendtor: Waterford gewann gegen Galway United mit 3:1.
Power ist nicht nur Fußballer. Für Dublin spielte er bis zur U20 auch Hurling und stand 2020 im All-Ireland-Finale dieser Altersklasse auf dem Feld.
Bei Waterford entwickelte er sich über Jahre zum Rechtsverteidiger und erreichte 2022 mit dem Klub die Viertelfinals des FAI Cup. Er verliess den Verein Anfang 2025 ablösefrei und wechselte nach England zu Cheltenham Town. Dort kam er innerhalb eines Jahres auf 33 Pflichtspieleinsätze in der League Two. Ende Januar 2026 kehrte er nach Irland zurück und schloss sich, wieder ablösefrei, Bohemians an. Mit dem Dubliner Klub erreichte er im selben Jahr die dritte Runde des FAI Cup.
