Xcel Energy Center
Saint Paul, United States
Formerly: Xcel Energy Center
The glass Xcel Energy Center has been here since 2000, standing where the old civic centre once crumbled. This is the home of the NHL 's Minnesota Wild, and for many years it was also the dwelling of the WNBA 's Minnesota Lynx while their own arena was being fixed up.
The capacity for the game is 17,954, a number that was trimmed back from the original figure in 2012 when the seating was rearranged.
For twenty-five years the energy company Xcel has been on the sign, but the deal has run its course, and the arena may soon bear the name of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe .
