Inhulets and Nyva Ternopil met in the fourth round of the Persha Liha on 16 August, with the visitors taking a 1-2 victory. The result moves Inhulets to eight points from six games, keeping them fifth in the table, while Nyva climb to six points from five matches after sitting in tenth place.
Inhulets took the lead in the 47th minute, but Nyva responded quickly. M. Pezhynskyi levelled the score by the 49th minute, and the visitors then turned the tie in their own hands. O. Manastyrnyi struck in the 84th minute to put Nyva ahead, and A. Dudik added a late consolation for the hosts in the 88th.
Both sides made several changes in the second half. Inhulets brought on S. Ursolov and O. Yevtushenko together in the 61st minute, while D. Tuzenko appeared for them in the 66th. Nyva responded with a double substitution in the 67th, bringing on B. Mogylnyi and D. Tuzenko, before adding B. Vyshynskyi in the 69th and 70th minutes. Discipline remained measured throughout. K. Kvas received a yellow card for Inhulets in the 63rd minute, Y. Ryazantsev for Nyva in the 81st, and M. Mykhalchuk for the visitors in the 90+1st minute. No red cards were shown by either side.
