Parken Stadium
Parken was built where Idrætsparken once stood. Gert Andersson drew up the new bowl, financed by Baltica Finans in return for fifteen years of Denmark's home matches, and it opened its doors on 9 September 1992 against West Germany.
The ground has worn several names without ever quite changing its own — Telia Parken from 2014 to 2020, now Parken – Connected by 3 commercially, Parken Stadium on paper throughout. A 2007–2009 rebuild tore down the old D-stand for a retractable one.
Two European finals passed through here: Arsenal beat Parma 1-0 in the 1994 Cup Winners' Cup final, and Galatasaray held Arsenal goalless before winning on penalties in the 2000 UEFA Cup final. The record football crowd, 42,099, came for Denmark against Greece in October 2005.
Music has filled the place just as often. Eurovision landed here too, in 2001. Underfoot now is Hatko Hybridgrass.
