Al-Arabi claimed a 2-0 victory away to Al-Sailiya in the third match of the regular season in the Stars' League on 3 September 2026. The visitors took the lead just before half-time through Youssef Snana and added a second after the break to move off the bottom of the table.
Snana struck in the 45th minute to give Al-Arabi the advantage, and a yellow card for Hadi Ali Tabasideh followed three minutes later as Al-Sailiya looked to respond. Abdelaziz Mitwali came on for the hosts in the 61st minute, but the visitors controlled the tempo and doubled their lead in the 77th minute when Issa Laye found the net.
Al-Arabi made five changes around the hour mark, bringing on Mohamed Taabouni, Isaac Lihadji, Youssef Snana, Pablo Sarabia and others. Raoul Danzabe Sanda received a yellow card for the hosts in the 73rd minute, while Marwan Sherif Hassan was booked for Al-Arabi in the 78th minute. Al-Arabi dominated possession with 67 per cent compared to 33 for the hosts, and created more chances overall. Both teams registered three shots on target, but the visitors had more attempts off target and generated 110 attacks to Al-Sailiya's 88. Key passes favoured Al-Arabi 10 to 4, and they won 12 corners against three.
The result leaves Al-Sailiya rooted to 12th place after two defeats and no points, while Al-Arabi move into seventh with two points from two draws. The visitors had been drawn with Al-Sadd and Al-Shamal previously, while the hosts lost 2-3 to Al-Shakhaniya and 0-2 to Al-Sadd before this match.
