Estadio Bautista Gargantini

Estadio Bautista Gargantini's West Stand was raised in 1925, and it was the first concrete stand built anywhere in Argentine football.

The land, in Mendoza's Parque General San Martín, came from provincial governor José Néstor Lencina, who handed it to Independiente Rivadavia in 1923. The stadium opened on 5 April 1925 with a match against Uruguay's Peñarol, lost 0-2.

The rest of the ground has been rebuilt in stages rather than all at once. In 1965 the club tore down its old open terraces and put up the Tribuna Salvador Iúdica, at the time the largest stand in the province. A further renovation in October 2008, under club president Daniel Vila, modernised the changing rooms and turnstiles; three years later a North Stand for around 4,000 spectators went up, named after former club president Alfredo Vila.

Independiente Rivadavia, known to their own support as La Lepra, play there. The ground filled for the club's run to the 2023 Primera Nacional promotion final after a win over Deportivo Maipú, and it was named host for the 2025 Copa Argentina final against Argentinos Juniors. The derby with Godoy Cruz has turned uglier than most fixtures here: one meeting at the Gargantini ended with nineteen arrests after clashes outside the stadium.
