Norddjurs claimed a 33-28 victory over Lemvig on Thursday evening in the opening round of the 1. Division. It was a straightforward result on paper, though the margin tells only part of the story. Norddjurs held firm where Lemvig could have pushed back, and by then the visitors had already established the pattern that would define the evening.
Standing alone at the top of the table after that win, Norddjurs sit on two points with one game played. Lemvig, meanwhile, remain level on zero points after their single point from a draw elsewhere has done nothing to move them up from twelfth. The gap means little this early, but it is enough to separate them.
