Varnsdorf saw off Schejti 6-0 in the Cup's 1/128-finals on 1 August 2026. The visitors made it three goals inside the opening half without Schejti finding any foothold. And here's the thing — the match was never really in doubt after the first goal.

T. Ahile opened the scoring in the fourth minute, catching Schejti off guard. N. Gavrylyuk doubled the advantage before half-time, and Ahile added his second just after the break on 45+2 minutes. To be fair, the hosts had their moments but couldn't convert.

It all came apart in the second half. J. Emmer struck twice in quick succession on 55 and 56 minutes, then S. Boryshpolets rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute. By then Schejti had already packed their bags mentally.

The statistics tell an interesting story. Schejti had 49 per cent possession and 108 attacks compared to Varnsdorf's 51 per cent and 114. Yet Varnsdorf landed six shots on target for six goals, while Schejti managed only five shots on target for nothing. That's what you call efficiency.

Varnsdorf have now stringed together some impressive results, following up their 6-0 victory over Usti nad Labem II earlier this month. Schejti's recent form included a 5-0 win over the same opponent, but this was a different proposition entirely.
