Hugo Duro Perales

Hugo Duro Perales came through Getafe's youth system, joining the academy as a boy and working his way from the B team into the first-team squad, where he stayed until 2022. A loan to Real Madrid Castilla in 2020 briefly lifted him into the Real Madrid first team the following year, where he made two appearances, though the club chose not to trigger a €4 million purchase option.

Valencia took him on loan in August 2021 with an option to buy, and he repaid that faith in the 2022 Copa del Rey final against Real Betis, scoring in a match Valencia went on to lose on penalties. The club made the move permanent that May, paying €4 million and tying him down until 2028. He finished as the team's top scorer in La Liga in 2023–24 with 13 goals and again in 2024–25 with 11.

He was involved in Valencia's 2023 Supercopa de España campaign, coming off the bench in the 72nd minute of the semi-final against Real Madrid, a match Valencia lost on penalties after a 1–1 draw. At international level, Duro has a single cap for Spain's under-21 side, scoring the winning penalty against North Macedonia's under-21s in September 2020.
