Miodrag Pivaš

Miodrag Pivaš left Serbia as a teenager and made his senior debut for SV Grödig in Austria at just 16, going on to make 15 first-team appearances for the club alongside three more for the reserve side. He returned home in 2023 to join FK Jedinstvo Ub, where 25 matches and a goal from central defence were recorded.

That form led to a move to Newcastle United in July 2024, on a five-year contract that also included a sell-on clause for his former club. The transfer arrived with little time to settle into life on Tyneside: within weeks, Pivaš was sent out on loan to Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2024–25 season. His time in the Netherlands was limited, with five appearances for the club.

Pivaš, who can play as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, stands 1.88 metres tall and is right-footed. At international level, he has represented Serbia at Under-17 level, earning seven caps, and was part of the squad at the 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, though he has yet to find the net for the age group.
