Moisés Roberto Barbosa

Moisés Roberto Barbosa began his career in Brazil's lower tiers, making his senior debut for Comercial in the Copa Paulista in July 2013 before moving through Batatais and Madureira. His breakthrough came at Corinthians, where three loan spells — to Red Bull Bragantino, Bahia and Botafogo — served as staging posts. It was at Corinthians, all the same, that he won his first major honours, taking the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Campeonato Paulista in 2017.

A permanent switch to Bahia in 2019 valued 30% of his economic rights at a reported R$2 million. That future led to Internacional, initially on loan and then, in 2022, on a permanent deal worth around €0.485 million. There he won the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Sudamericana.

CSKA Moscow took him on loan in 2022 before completing the transfer for a reported €2.3 million in 2023. Barbosa lifted the Russian Cup in both the 2022/23 and 2024/25 seasons and the Russian Super Cup in 2025. His form there was recognised individually too: he was named Best Defender of the Russian Premier League for 2024/25, and has featured in the League's List of 33 Best Players in three straight seasons, finishing top of the defenders' list in 2024/25. He has not yet been capped by Brazil at senior level.
