Sebastián Gonzales Zela

Sebastián Gonzales Zela is a Peruvian forward. He spent 11 years coming through the Sporting Cristal academy after starting out at Centro Naval del Perú, leaving the club in 2017. He made his professional debut with Sport Boys in September 2018, having signed his first contract the previous month.

In January 2020 he joined Alianza Lima on a three-year deal, but was loaned out almost immediately to Universidad de San Martín for the rest of that season, scoring five goals as the club avoided relegation. He won the Liga 1 title and the Torneo Clausura with Alianza Lima in 2021. Further loans followed: 24 appearances and two goals at Ayacucho FC in 2022, then a move to Deportivo Coopsol in March 2023, where he scored seven goals in 26 matches in the Segunda División — his best return in a single season. He went on to play for Comerciantes Unidos in 2024 before joining KF Teuta in 2025.

At youth level, Gonzales Zela represented Peru's under-20 side at the 2019 South American U-20 Championship, making four appearances, and had earlier won an under-20 quadrangular tournament in Lara, Venezuela, in 2018. He also featured for the under-23s during the 2020 South American Pre-Olympic Tournament, scoring once in three caps, and was called up for the 2019 Pan American Games without making the final squad. He has not been capped by the senior Peru national team.
