Folgore Caratese

Seventy-eight years passed between Folgore Caratese's last season in Serie C and the next one. The gap closed in the 2025–26 campaign, when the club won Serie D Group B and earned a place back in the third tier, with squad players on loan from Juventus and Como filling out a side built to get the job done.

The club's shape today dates only to 2011, when U.S. Caratese merged with U.S. Folgore Verano, but the older of the two traces back to March 1908. Nine straight seasons in Serie C from 1937, with Angelo Farina in goal before he went on to become club president. The town's tanning trade gave the side its nickname, I Lambraioli.

The player supporters bring up first is Moreno Torricelli, who came through the club in the early 1990s and left for Juventus, where he won the league and the Champions League. Decades later, in 2021, Isaac Drogba made his professional debut here.

Local weight comes from the Derby della Brianza against Seregno, sharpened by the closer rivalries with Vis Nova Giussano and Casatese.
