Hednesford Town

Hednesford Town have won one national trophy, and it came at Villa Park, where they beat Canvey Island 3–2 in the 2003–04 FA Trophy final.

The club was formed in 1880 when two Hednesford sides, the Red & Whites and Hill Top, merged into one. For ninety years afterwards it played at Cross Keys before moving in 1995 to Keys Park, built nearby at a cost of £1.3m.

In March 2023 a collapsed takeover pushed Hednesford to resign from the FA and its league altogether; vice-chairman Hayden Dando stepped in to keep it alive. A year later, in March 2024, Craig and Amanda Gwilt took over, and the club has since gone up through the Northern Premier League Division One West and then its Premier Division, reaching National League North for the first time in its history.

Derby days against Stafford Rangers and Chasetown draw the sharpest reaction from the Keys Park crowd, with Tamworth also treated as a rival. Cohen Bramall left Hednesford for Arsenal in 2016–17 for around £40,000.
