Kids Tâmpa Braşov

Brașov already had a football academy for children when, in 2015, the Tâmpa project turned into a registered club in its own right, though those behind it trace the wider Tâmpa Brașov idea back to 2009. The senior men's side was a late addition to that structure: it did not take the field until the 2020–2021 season, entering Liga III, the third tier of Romanian football, straight into a city whose football history already had a name attached to it. ACS Kids Tâmpa Brașov makes no claim on that name — the club draws no legal line back to Steagul Roșu Brașov, the team that once fielded Stere Adamache, Nicolae Pescaru and Iuliu Jenei, and later became FC Brașov. The connection is one of place, not paperwork.

The senior team plays as Urșii, the Bears, in white and blue, and shares the city with Corona Brașov and Steagul Brașov.

Away from the first team, the club runs sections in handball, badminton, basketball and other sports, and it is there that the results have come: the badminton academy took the national under-17 title in 2025 with seven medals. The football side has yet to bring back a trophy of its own in Liga III or below.
