Kirovets Voskhozhdenie

The Center for Football Preparation "Voskhozhdenie" set up on the site under that name, but the claim behind it reaches back to 1899, through the club's line as Putilovets, Krasny Putilovets and finally Kirovets — the works team of the Kirov Plant, whose professional side folded in 1993. President Dmitry Ignatenko brought back Sergey Frantsev, who had coached the original Kirovets in 1991, to run the new one.

The ground itself came with the project — reconstruction finished in 2021, bringing capacity to 3,000 seats.

Results have come first at youth level. The club took the North-West championship in the Youth Football League's under-19 category in 2024, then the under-17 title in 2025, and added the Saint Petersburg Cup that same year, beating Dynamo-2 1-0.

The nearest needle in the fixture list is the Kirovsky Derby, played mostly among the junior sides against SSHOR Kirovsky District — a local rather than a national rivalry, and, for now, the club's most regular test.
