Klubi-04

Klubi-04 was founded in 2004, after HJK bought Jokerit's football wing and took its place in the third tier, Kakkonen.

Progress came in stages rather than a straight climb. Promotion to Ykkösliiga arrived in 2006, only for relegation to send the side back down the following year; a divisional title in 2008 restored it to the second tier, where it settled into mid-table finishes through 2009 and 2010. A decade later the same pattern repeated — down to Kakkonen after 2018, split between its A and B groups through 2022 and 2023, back up in 2024. What changed in 2025 was the scale of the season: sixth place in Ykkösliiga on a club-record 39 points, beaten along the way by top-flight IFK Mariehamn, 4-3.

Perparim Hetemaj, an HJK player in his own right before he took the touchline, has coached the side since 2024 and led that same cup-winning group's youth wing into the Youth League play-off round, where it met Trabzonspor.
