Metropolitan

No team has finished above Metropolitan FA since Liga Puerto Rico Pro began play in 2018, and the club arrived at 2025 with a fourth league title. Under Jorge Silvetti, the Argentine who has run the touchline since the club's earliest days, Metropolitan also took the Puerto Rico Soccer League championship in 2016.

The roster has carried its own weight in that record. Héctor Ramos, the Puerto Rico national team's all-time leading scorer, joined in 2020.

Continental football has been less forgiving. In the 2021 Caribbean Club Championship, Metropolitan reached the semi-finals only after a contested win over Delfines del Este that turned on the opposing side fielding ineligible players; that same year, FC Santa Lucía ended their run in the preliminary round of the CONCACAF League. Domestically, the sharper test has always been Bayamón FC. The two have met in league finals repeatedly, including the 2021 final, which Bayamón won.

Metropolitan FA, known to their own supporters as Los Metropolitanos, play at Parque Reparto Metropolitano in San Juan, a ground that holds 1,000. Jorge Silvetti founded the club in 2012.
