The Severny stadium in Nizhny Novgorod holds 3,180 spectators.
It exists because Vadim Galitsky, son of Krasnodar owner Boris Galitsky, bought FC Legion in Makhachkala, moved the club to Nizhny Novgorod and renamed it. The switch happened in the summer of 2025, and with it came a claim rarely made in the city before: Pobeda is its first privately owned professional football club.
Oleg Makeev took charge as head coach, and the team entered the 2026 season in Group 4 of Division B of Russia's Second League. Before the league campaign started, Pobeda took part in the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Football Federation Cup and finished third, a bronze medal earned in February 2026.
