Salisbury

The Raymond McEnhill Stadium holds 4,000, with 2,247 seats under cover. It has been Salisbury's only home, because there was no club to inherit a ground from when the current side began: the previous incarnation, playing since 1947, went into liquidation in 2014 under the weight of debt, and this Salisbury F.C. started over from the Wessex League Premier Division in 2015.

Steve Claridge, manager and director in that first season, took the club to the title at the first attempt and as far as the FA Vase semi-finals. The captain that day, Sido Jombati, had already played over 300 league games for Cheltenham Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Oldham Athletic before arriving at Salisbury, and it was his penalty that won the final.

Josh Sommerton offers the other side of that story: an academy product who has stayed since 2017, passed 200 appearances and now wears the armband himself.

In the FA Cup, three straight seasons have now ended at the third qualifying round replay stage, and the FA Trophy run reached the fourth round last season.
