Al-Saada Stadium
Salalah, Oman
The Al-Saada Stadium sits in the Al-Saada district of Salalah. Built between 2006 and 2009, it holds a capacity of 20,000 spectators, though this figure grew from an earlier configuration of roughly 8,000. The expansion came after local criticism of the initial post-renovation layout, which had converted all standing terraces to an all-seater design.
What distinguishes the ground from other venues in Oman is its role as a shared home. Both Dhofar FC and Al-Nasr SCSC call it their base, and second-division teams from Salalah and Mirbat regularly use the pitch. The natural grass surface has remained consistent throughout the stadium's history.
The venue has hosted international fixtures, including an Oman versus Saudi Arabia friendly in 2009, though attendance figures for that evening went unrecorded. The most substantial crowd gathered during the 2014–15 Sultan Qaboos Cup, with approximately 15,000 spectators present for December matches at the ground. The stadium's name derives from its district rather than any commercial sponsor, and it has carried this designation since the facility opened.
The complex also includes other sporting facilities.
