The ground at Valdebebas does not carry the weight of the Bernabéu. It exists to serve the reserve and women’s sides of the club, and its geometry reflects that priority.

A photograph taken at dusk shows the field in shadow and the sky pale. The most persistent visual feature is the name of the complex itself. That building carries the name Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano, but it is not the subject here. The ground in the foreground has no other name to distinguish it.

The capacity is small, and that suits the function. It is a place where players are measured, not celebrated. The surface is natural grass, maintained to the same standard as the first team’s pitches, though the crowd will never fill the seats. The complex opened in 2005, replacing the old Ciudad Deportiva, and the design by Antonio Lamela prioritises functionality over spectacle.

There are no former names. It is a training ground with the occasional match.
