The Dimotiko Gipedo Ayias Napas sits in the Kokkines area of Ayia Napa. The pitch itself is a full-size natural grass strip, 105 by 68 meters.
Its place in history is defined by international youth tournaments rather than domestic league glory. It hosted matches during the 1992 UEFA European Under-16 Championship and the 1998 UEFA European Under-18 Championship. It was here, during that 1998 event, that the highest recorded crowd of 1,500 gathered to watch the Republic of Ireland U-19 beat Cyprus U-19.
When promoted to the Cypriot First Division, the team was forced to play top-flight matches at the nearby Tasos Markou Stadium in Paralimni because the floodlights here were deemed insufficient.
