Formerly: Samtredia City Stadium, Lokomotivi Stadium
Erosi Manjgaladze Stadium took it after Manjgaladze's death in 1982 — Samtredia City Stadium, and before that the Lokomotivi Stadium, after the railway club that played there.
The ground on Rustaveli Street had been in use since at least the 1990s.
The rebuild came in 2012, paid for by the Visol group and its founder Levan Pkhakadze. The reopening followed that September.
What the 2012 work did not settle was the playing surface. The stadium ran on an artificial pitch until February 2018, when the Georgian Football Federation pulled it up and laid natural grass in its place.
