Estádio Feitosão
Monteiro, Brazil
Estádio Feitosão stands quietly in the Centro neighbourhood, but it is not a place that has been left to the slow wear of time. It is a ground that looked up to the future when the concrete was still fresh and decided to lock itself into a new rhythm. The municipal administration pushed through a rebuild that finished in 2022, tearing out the old steel and replacing it with LED floodlights that now cut a clean white line on the night sky. The stands were rebuilt brick by brick, and a new automated irrigation system was laid into the natural grass pitch in March 2026, ensuring the surface stays firm even when the heat presses down hard on the state of Paraíba.
It is a small house for football, taking 4,000 people. The local clubs Socremo and Serrano-PB play their hardest games here against rivals who have walked the same concrete steps for decades. You can feel it in the way the stadium holds its shape against the weather. The old head of the town, Mayor Anna Lorena, and the state government saw it out together, turning a neglected plot into a proper sports complex. The pitch itself is the heart of it all, and when it gets scuffed up, the new watering system goes to work, keeping the ball rolling true.
It has seen everything from aggressive youth camps to the slow, heavy steps of veterans’ finals. The crowd has seen its share of drama, too. But the game has a way of refusing to go away. The stadium is owned by the council, with no website to hide behind, and no history written in stone about when the first kick was struck.
