The ground in Vioño de Piélagos carries a name that refers to the glassworks that once stood nearby, a factory that closed decades ago but left its mark on the locality. The pitch sits within the Complejo Municipal Vimenor, a complex that has been rebuilt and reshaped several times.

What sets this place apart is not its size, but the way it has been used. The club founded in 1929 plays here, but the ground has also hosted matches for the national cup system, the Copa del Rey, and the Copa RFEF. For the match against CD Mirandés in November 2022, temporary stands were erected to accommodate the visitors, pushing the capacity beyond its usual limits.

The surface remains artificial, and it serves its purpose well. Matches against teams from higher divisions occasionally bring attention, but the ground itself does not seek it.

Cup ties continue to draw visitors, including the recent fixture against Compostela in September 2024. The name La Vidriera persists, inherited from the factory that once employed hundreds in these streets, even though the glassworks no longer operate. The complex remains in use, the pitch in play, and the modest facilities continue to host matches without fanfare or pretension.
