Fethiye İlçe Stadı
Fethiye, Turkey
Fethiye İlçe Stadı sits in the Tuzla Mahallesi district. The view is the first thing you notice.
What is on the pitch is natural grass, 105 by 68 metres, with no undersoil heating. The playing surface was brought up to UEFA standards during a major expansion in 2006, and a modern lighting system has been in place since March 2009. The side stands were closed in 2014.
The stands have changed more recently. A 2024 seismic analysis found the concrete structures unsafe. For now, a temporary 3,000-seat portable stand is used for certain matches. One such fixture was a Ziraat Turkish Cup tie against Galatasaray in January 2026; the turnout drew an estimated 8,100 spectators, likely the highest in the stadium's modern history. There are conflicting figures for a future permanent capacity, with one suggestion of 2,000, but the official number remains 6,963 until new construction is certified.
The venue belongs to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Youth and Sports, with maintenance historically handled by the Fethiye Municipality. It is the home of Fethiyespor and has hosted neutral playoff finals for the 3. Lig and A2 Ligi. A UEFA Women's Euro 2017 qualifying match between Turkey and Russia was played here on 25 November 2015, with 1,485 in attendance.
