Føyka Stadion does not look like a place built for spectacle. The ground opened in 1950. The defining feature is the pitch. It is not a single sheet of turf but a cluster of three 7-a-side artificial pitches, laid down in 2017. The surface is synthetic with plastic infill, heated by deep geothermal wells that replaced the old propane systems. The floodlights provide 500 lux.
There is a stand, but it is not imposing.
The surrounding area has been filled in over the years. Between 2021 and 2022, a synthetic ice rink and a frisbee golf course were added, alongside pétanque courts.
