The venue hosts the men's senior handball team of AZS UKW Bydgoszcz, who compete in the I Liga. The hall, which has a capacity of 1,500, can be divided into three parts for different activities. It also serves as a host for basketball and volleyball matches organised by the university. Beyond the pitch sports, the hall is used for competitions in Showdown and 100-square checkers, as well as university futsal championships.
The university’s sports teams also use the venue for academic league matches. Notable events held at the venue include the Memorials of Dariusz Głowacki in Men's Handball and the 2023 Final of the Polish Goalball Championships. The venue also hosted the Academic Championships of Poland in Handball.
