Pabellón Municipal de Porriño

Pabellón Municipal de Porriño sits in the A Carrola area of O Porriño. The pavilion opened in May 1983, half a year before the official inauguration match during the town's 'Fiestas del Cristo' celebrations. The Ayuntamiento de Porriño funded the construction at 57.2 million pesetas and retains ownership, managing it through the municipal site rather than an independent portal.

The interior is defined by a wooden parquet court measuring 45 by 30 metres, surrounded by seating for 1,692 spectators. That capacity has not changed since 1983, despite renovations carried out in 1993 and again in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the latter of which added a sports LED screen and improved accessibility. The venue hosts Porriño Baloncesto Base and Balonmano Porriño.

The pavilion has stepped beyond local sport. It hosted the EHF European Cup Final for women's handball on May 10, 2025, when Valur visited; the semi-final first leg took place there on March 23, 2025. Prior to that, it staged the final phase of the Copa de la Reina de Balonmano Femenino in 2016 and 2017. It has also welcomed a boxing event promoted by Rafa Gil, the I Festa da Rosa organized by the local socialists, and a Reyes Magos reception on January 5, 2025.
