The Sân vận động Cao Lãnh sits at No. 83 Nguyễn Huệ Street in Mỹ Phú Ward. The club founded in 1976, Đồng Tháp FC, calls this ground home. The local side won the Vietnamese National Championship in 1989 and again in 1996, the latter title clinched on this very pitch. The stadium opened on 6 October 1996, the same day Đồng Tháp defeated Công an Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 3–1 in the final. The venue is already in use before the official inauguration date, with sources noting it was constructed before 1986 and became a "legendary" venue during the late 1980s and 1990s. It has a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 to 23,000 spectators, with natural grass as the playing surface. It has undergone multiple repairs and upgrades over the years to meet competition conditions. Notable events hosted at the venue include the National Sports Festival (Hội khỏe Phù Đổng Toàn quốc) in 2000, the 1st Sports Congress of the Mekong Delta region in 2005, and the Honda Vietnam National Motorcycle Racing Cup in November 2017. In the 2023–24 season, Đồng Tháp FC competed in V.League 2, finishing 10th out of 11 teams, and continued to use Cao Lãnh Stadium as their home ground. However, the club is scheduled to rebrand as Bình Minh Sài Gòn FC and move its home ground to Bà Rịa Stadium in Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province for the 2026–27 season. Specific attendance records for individual matches are not available, though average attendance in the mid-2010s was reported to be nearly 10,000 fans per match.
