SD "Žeravinec"

SD Žeravinec sits quietly in the Posavski Bregi district of Ivanić-Grad, far from the glare of international football. It opened in 2006, a modern addition to a town that had long played its handball on outdoor fields or borrowed halls in neighbouring towns. The facility, technically the Športsko društvo Žeravinec, simply provides a roof for local sport.

The interior tells the story of local investment. The parquet floor, which has been replaced in the past, is currently part of an energy renovation project valued at 1.1 million euros. The venue serves as the home ground for ŽRK Ivanić and MRK Ivanić, alongside Košarka '03 and local kickboxing clubs. It is a hub for the City Association of Sports Associations Ivanić-Grad, keeping the community’s sporting life contained within its four walls.

Attendance figures for specific matches have ranged from 50 to 150 spectators, though the exact seating capacity remains undocumented in available sources. The hall has hosted notable events, including Group D matches for the 2009 European Volleyball Championship Qualification (U18) and a training camp for the Croatian women's senior handball national team in November 2017.

It has not undergone major structural rebuilds, only renovations such as the parquet replacement and energy upgrades. The venue retains the name of the local sports society and district.
