Športová hala Milénium

The hall at Jiráskova 25 has never changed its name. It opened on 29 December 1999, timed to coincide with the turn of the millennium, and its primary purpose has remained constant since: to house the professional handball club MHC Štart Nové Zámky, which plays in the Niké Handball Extraliga. The building is owned by Novovital, s.r.o., a company that manages the venue in partnership with the city of Nové Zámky, which funded the original construction between 1998 and 1999.

The playing surface is wooden parquet, specifically birch plywood, which was replaced during a renovation in the summer of 2019 alongside an upgrade to the lighting system. That work was followed by the announcement of a larger reconstruction with a budget exceeding 933,000 EUR, scheduled to cover insulation, roof renewal, and ventilation. The capacity of the hall is cited as 1,194 spectators on the official website of the handball club; other sources list 994 seats, a discrepancy that likely concerns whether standing room is included.

Outside of handball, the venue hosts futsal matches, including away games for Futsal Team Levice, and volleyball training. It has also been used for concerts, with performances by IMT Smile in 2023, Lucie Bílá in 2023, and Ten Years After in 2006. The hall has hosted youth tournaments, such as the boys' division of the Kalo Kágatiá event. No attendance record has been established for the venue, and it has not hosted major international finals.
