Stade de l'Unité Maghrébine

The Stade de l'Unité Maghrébine sits within the OPOW Sports Complex, where the view does not end at the stands. The ground itself is defined by the red athletics track that circles the pitch, separating the field of play from the seating areas.

Opened in 1987, the stadium has served as the home ground for JSM Béjaïa and MO Béjaïa since 1989. Its role expanded recently with the promotion of Olympique Akbou to Ligue 1 in 2024. The structure features 20 stands. In 2009, the natural grass surface was replaced with FIFA Quality Pro certified artificial turf. A major rehabilitation project began in January 2026, funded by the Wilaya of Béjaïa, aiming to update the roofing, metal structures, and seating.

Notable moments include a friendly match between the Algeria national team and Morocco on March 22, 1989, which drew 15,000 spectators. The venue has also hosted CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup matches, including games for JS Kabylie when their own stadium lacked homologation. The official attendance record stands at 22,000, set in 2001 during a promotion match between MO Béjaïa and El Hadjar. The capacity is often cited as 20,000, though some sources suggest 17,500.
