About the player
Adrian Stanilewicz joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2010 after starting out at Solinger SC 95/98 and 1. FC Union Solingen. He made his senior debut for Leverkusen in December 2018 and was part of the first-team squad for the 2019/20 Europa League campaign, though he did not make a Bundesliga appearance for the club.
He moved to SV Darmstadt 98 in August 2020 on a free transfer, a switch confirmed at the time by the club's own Lilienblog. He spent two seasons in Darmstadt before joining Fortuna Köln in September 2022, where he plays as a defensive midfielder and is contracted until June 2027.
Stanilewicz represented Germany at youth level, earning caps for the under-17s, including a goal, and the under-20s. He later switched allegiance to Poland, and started all four of Poland's matches at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup after collecting ten caps for the Polish under-20 side. He has not featured for a senior national team.
At Fortuna Köln, his league involvement in the Regionalliga West has been limited: two appearances in the 2023/2024 season, two more in 2024/2025, and four so far in 2025/2026. He plays left-footed.
