Burak Bekaroğlu

Burak Bekaroğlu began and, for now, has returned to the same place: Sakaryaspor, the club of the city where he was born. He joined its youth system in 2010 after two years at Sakarya Tekspor, and in 2013 he was in the senior squad. He stayed there until January 2019, so his first years as a professional were spent at his home club.

Turkey noticed him early. In 2014 he played five times for the under-17s. He then made eight appearances for the under-19s across 2014 and 2015, and one for the under-18s in 2015. That year he was also invited to a training camp with the under-21 side.

The move away came in January 2019, when he left for Boluspor on a free transfer. He spent just over two years there and left in April 2021 as a free agent. Every later move of his career followed the same pattern, with no fee involved.

In July 2021 he signed for Fatih Karagümrük, where he stayed until November 2022. After a short spell without a club, he joined Hatayspor on 12 January 2023 and left in January 2024. Iğdır FK was next, and he stayed there until early 2026.

In February 2026 he went back to Sakaryaspor, the club where he had come through the youth ranks and first played senior football.
