Denis Pshkarev

Denis Pshkarev came through the FC Chertanovo academy in Moscow, where he finished as top scorer at the 2019 All-Russian final for players born in 2005. That form carried him to the Lokomotiv Moscow youth system in August 2020, and it was at that level, rather than with any senior side, that he made his mark: seven caps and four goals for Russia's under-17s, including strikes against Poland and Myanmar in 2019, followed by a single appearance for the under-21s against Uzbekistan in September 2023.

The step into senior football came later and more gradually. A move to FC Volgar Astrakhan in July 2023 gave him a taste of senior football before he returned to Lokomotiv's youth structures. The turning point arrived in January 2024, when he signed for FK Chelyabinsk. There he became a regular fixture in the Russian First League, making 25 appearances in the 2024/2025 season while also featuring for the club's reserve side, Chelyabinsk-2, in the Russian Second League.

In July 2026 Pshkarev moved to Shinnik Yaroslavl on loan from Chelyabinsk, taking him back to his native Yaroslavl Oblast region — he was born in Rybinsk. He has made four appearances in the Russian First League for his new club. A right-footed forward, he has yet to add to his youth-international record at senior level with the Russian national team.
