About the player
Emirkan Ayhan's route to Bandırmaspor ran through the February 2023 earthquakes. He had been in the Maraşspor youth system in Kahramanmaraş since 2016, when he received his first licence, and he played for affiliated youth sides in the city, Ethem Tambay Spor among them. After the earthquakes he moved to Antalya DSİ Spor, signing on 24 March 2023.
The move did not last long. In August 2023 he joined the Bandırmaspor academy and went into the U19 squad. His first season there was a full one: 31 appearances in the U19 Lig (Elit B), four goals and three assists. A right-footed midfielder, 182 cm tall, he was already being used in senior matchdays by then.
His professional debut came in the same 2023–24 campaign, when he played three matches for the first team in the 1. Lig. The following season brought less: one league appearance and one in the Türkiye Kupası.
In July 2025 Bandırmaspor loaned him to Ayvalıkgücü Belediyespor. The agreement covers both the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons.
Born in Adana, he moved between cities and clubs before reaching his mid-teens.
