H. Ekengren

Hanna Ekengren left Vittsjö GIK in December 2025 after four seasons, when her contract expired, and joined Kristianstads DFF on a free transfer. She signed a one-year deal running to 31 December 2026. By April 2026 she had scored four goals in 19 appearances for her new club in the Damallsvenskan.

Vittsjö was where she played most. Ekengren arrived in December 2021 and made 84 appearances there, scoring 16 goals. In 2023 she spent time away on loan at Trelleborgs FF, playing two Elitettan matches and scoring once.

Her route to Vittsjö began in Stockholm. She made one Elitettan appearance for AIK in 2018, then moved to Djurgården in January 2019. She played 27 Damallsvenskan matches for Djurgården before leaving in 2021, and in her final year there she was loaned to Sundsvalls DFF for a single match.

Ekengren also came through Sweden's youth national teams. She won 13 caps for the under-17s in 2017 and 2018 and scored four goals, playing in European Championship qualifying and in friendlies. In 2020 she made three appearances for the under-19s at the La Manga tournament, in matches against Poland, England and the United States.

Her contract at Kristianstad runs to the end of 2026.
