Islam Mashukov

Islam Mashukov moved to Moscow at 13, leaving Nalchik to train at the academies of Dynamo Moscow and CSKA Moscow before returning to senior football in his home region with Alania Vladikavkaz, where he made his professional debut in the First League in September 2013.

His career then took him through SKA-Khabarovsk, a spell in Georgia with Dila Gori, and Volgar Astrakhan, before a brief run at Orenburg was followed by a loan to Khimki. A move to Spartak Nalchik in 2018 brought 11 goals in 19 matches in the Second League. That second spell became the productive core of his career: 10 goals in 19 matches in 2019/20 as the club won promotion from the Second Division to the First Division, and 14 goals in 35 matches in 2021/22, when he finished as Alania's top scorer and helped the side reach the Russian Cup semi-finals. Across all competitions for the club, he scored 53 goals in 152 appearances.

In July 2024, Mashukov left Russia for Yelimay Semey in the Kazakhstan Premier League, before a short stint with Andijan in Uzbekistan in early 2025. He returned to Russian football in July 2025, joining FC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk as a free agent. This season he has scored three goals in 24 Russian First League appearances, adding two assists, along with a further goal in four Russian Cup matches.
